Release: Divine Timing
Timing– “No one has the obligation to wait for you, but at the same time you do not have an obligation to rush for them. Push false narratives aside and choose to listen to your truth. They will come, those who will take you as you are, without any judgement of your pace.”
~La Espiritista
The only time which we have the ability to make choices is now. Although the dimensions of past and future are valuable for integrating lessons learned, we can only implement our actions in the present.
Where you are right now is valid, OK, and necessary for your journey. Anyone who tries to coerce you into believing otherwise, including yourself, is operating from a place of force and/or trauma.

Whenever I begin losing myself I go to the forest. There I find the door to healing, love, and transformation. Linear sequence ceases and a vast stream of consciousness takes over. The forest is a magical space where time does not exist
Time is a social construct. It is a double edge sword which can create limits and structure which can aid us in our daily lives, but it can also restrict, repress, and reduce the potential of our energy.
The problem with having time as a social construct is all within the question of Who.
Who has the power to decide how long it will take you to be qualified?
Who has the power to decide when you should be done grieving?
Who has the power to decide when you should be at a certain milestone, if you even desire to achieve that specific milestone?
The only timeline which is correct is the one that choose for yourself. You have all the power within you to decide what is right for you.
Social constructed time can be a form of abuse.
Social constructed time can be manipulation at its finest.
Social constructed time can be extreme pressure into situations you are not ready to engage in.
Part of our journey in reclaiming spirituality and our power is about reclaiming our relationship to social constructed time.
Instead of being manipulated by time, we learn to manipulate it in the way that it can best serve us.
Instead of being abused by time, we learn to use it in intentional ways which allow us to keep our boundaries intact.
Instead of being pressured by time, we learn to motivate ourselves in creating deadlines and markers which will manifest our dreams into reality.
Reclaiming time takes time (pun totally intended). It is a process which demands your effort and space. You are going to actively invest your energy towards this endeavor. You are going to get messy. You are going to dig into the depths of your soul and arise at the top, but not until after you have gone through the muck and grime.
Something which has been surfacing for me amid reclaiming my time is companionship.
It can be extremely lonely doing deconstruction work to not see the ones you love at your side. It can be frustrating to see that ones dearest to your heart still actively engage in deprecating ways. It can be painful to fully feel the entirety of the truth that you are unable to heal someone.
There will be many people in your life that you simply need to let go because they are not aligned with your energy. The only job which you have is to flow with the energy. To keep them in your life is a form of force against the current of time because it simply isn’t time.
Creative Exercise:
Schedule at least 1 hour of your free time this week and commit to this:
- Take 5 deep breaths and set a timer for 10 min
- Meditate in a way that feels best for you- this can look like visualizing one happy memory, or clearing your mind entirely
- Engage in an activity where you lose all sense of time. Truly immerse yourself and give yourself the space to indulge. (This can be hiking, painting, reading, any activity which you truly are integrated in this very moment, for me it is going somewhere in nature).
